I was diagnosed 2 years ago after suddenly having a seizure out of no where in the middle of the night. Despite my struggle and fight with my symptoms I still pushed through in my 12 hour shifts in Healthcare even on no sleep most days. I promised myself and my boss I would continue to work until my body gave up on me completely. I ended up off work after a major flare up affected my speach and mobility for 4 months. I fought to be able to do back to work but even a 6hour shift would have me useless for alteast 3 days after. Thats when I had to accept defeat my body had had enough of me fighting it and it made sure it put me down for good. And that lead to the decision that I could no longer continue in my career in Healthcare which was devastating. Having been out of work 8 months I have lost my independence,confidence,motivation and become a recluse and only leave the house once a week only if my husband is by myself and that is so far from the person I was before fnd decided to strike me down. Im due to go on my honeymoon finally in 2 months and I am determined to look amazing stood next to him on our honeymoon photos.
