Help keep people with FND moving
When Functional Neurological Disorder takes someone's mobility overnight, the right aid at the right moment changes everything. Your donation puts wheelchairs, walking aids and practical support into the hands of people the system too often leaves waiting.
Every pound helps someone stay independent, connected and safe.
Why your donation matters
FND Connect exists to support people living with Functional Neurological Disorder, along with their families and carers. FND is a complex neurological condition that can affect movement, speech, sensation and cause seizures — often without warning.
One day a person with FND might walk independently. The next, a flare can mean they need a wheelchair or walking aid just to leave the house safely. Because symptoms fluctuate so dramatically, many people don't meet the strict criteria for NHS-funded mobility equipment — leaving them stuck, and often stuck indoors, exactly when they need help most.
Losing mobility costs far more than movement
When someone can't get out, it doesn't just affect their legs. It chips away at their independence, mental wellbeing, work, friendships, confidence and family life. Too many people with FND become isolated simply because flexible, temporary mobility support isn't there when they need it.
That's where FND Connect comes in — and where you can help. 100% of your donation goes towards getting practical support to people living with FND when they need it most.
