Articles of Association
The governing document of FND Connect CIC: the community interest statement, the asset lock, our objects, and how the company is run. Limited by guarantee.
We believe the organisations people trust with their support should be open about how they are run. This is our full governance suite, published in plain English and free to read or download.
FND Connect is incorporating as FND Connect CIC — a community interest company limited by guarantee, established for the benefit of the community. We support people affected by Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), their families and carers across the United Kingdom. As a CIC we are governed by our directors and bound by a statutory asset lock, meaning our funds and assets are dedicated to our community purpose and are never distributed for private profit.
Our governing document is now the Articles of Association, which we adopted on incorporation and which is consistent with the community interest statement in our Form CIC36. Alongside the Articles we maintain a full suite of policies, so we hold ourselves to the standards our beneficiaries and funders should expect.
Our Articles of Association are the company's governing document. Alongside them we maintain a suite of controlled policies approved by the directors. You can read each one in full on this site, or download the PDF where available.

Before incorporating as a CIC, FND Connect operated as an unincorporated non-profit under a written Constitution. That Constitution has been superseded by the Articles of Association above, but we keep it available as a historical record.
The governing document adopted on 1 May 2026 while FND Connect was an unincorporated non-profit. Retained for transparency; no longer in force.
