Your host

Tricia Hughes

Hi, I’m Tricia 👋💗💙 I’m a nurse, wife, mum and someone living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). Going from being the healthcare professional to becoming the patient has completely changed my perspective and given me a real passion for raising awareness and improving support for people affected by FND. I’m also a Director/ Trustee of FND Connect CIC, where I’m passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces where nobody has to feel alone or misunderstood. I set up this local support group to bring together people living with FND, their families and carers — somewhere we can talk openly, share experiences, support one another and hopefully have a few laughs along the way! 💗💙 There’s no judgement and no pressure here — just people who understand. 🫶

Later dates

If symptoms are new, sudden, severe, or unlike your usual FND, use 999 or NHS 111. This group is peer support, not a clinic.
