Topic: Exams
My daughter is 15 and is going into year 11 in September. She has been recently diagnosed with FND. What advice would you give her with completing her end of school exams, being in a room full of people? - How was your experience during your Exams? Thank you

Hi! I’ve just finished Year 11, and my biggest bit of advice would be to speak to the school as early as possible. They can put support in place, like rest breaks, a smaller room, or other exam arrangements if they're needed.
Exams can be stressful anyway, so try not to put too much pressure on yourself. Focus on doing your best rather than being perfect. If being in a room with lots of people is difficult, definitely let the school know because they should be able to help.
My experience with exams was stressful at times, but having support from teachers made a big difference. I’d also say to make sure she gets enough rest, takes breaks while revising, and doesn't feel guilty if she needs to slow down. Wishing her all the best for Year 11!
